Meet lively Elizabeth who has lots of fun and likes to be naughty. One day she shoves her friend Joe, which sets of a trail of accidents and disasters throughout the classroom/playschool. All the children pass the blame back to Joe who gets upset with Elizabeth who see’s the trouble she has caused by her simple shove and apologises. The book ends on a positive note with the Joe accepting her apology and all the children having a lovely playtime together with no-one pushing or falling.

This book shows how our actions effect others.

Things we liked:
The book has a sub-title of 'A Tale of what Happens if you Push and Shove', but is about more than that. It shows friendships between the children and Joe dealing with getting cross and letting his anger go when Elizabeth apologised - in addition to Elizabeth's realisation of the consequences of her actions. It is very appealing to the eye and is fast paced with lots to look at with each page turn.
