Siblings Charlie and Lola are at home and poor Charlie has to give Lola her tea, a task he is not looking forward to. His sister is “a fussy eater” who does not enjoy healthy eating. After Lola lists the numerous foods she will not eat, Charlie cleverly produces them one by one but with a new name and an exciting origin. So carrots become Orange Twiglets from planet Jupiter, peas are rare Green Drops from Greenland and Ocean Nibbles from the mermaid supermarket under the sea? Fish fingers, of course! Lola tucks in. Lola then shocks Charlie when she demands her most hated food of all, tomatoes. Entering into the spirit of the game, she says “moonsquirters” are her favourites! Fun book, great pictures, no excuse for fussy eating again!
