The books explains how everybody enjoys things they find easy, but it is harder to keep trying when things are difficult at first. It encourages children to be patient, practice regularly and to find different ways to improve. It’s wise to listen to other’s encouragement, and tell yourself, ‘I can do it.’ A key message is that it’s more important to do your best and see things through than to win or be the best. This way you will be proud of yourself, and friends and family will be proud of you too: try new things, be adventurous and don’t be afraid of what others think.
