The book shows lots of different children experiencing treatment and interaction with nurses and doctors along with the different equipment they use. There is a view on the waiting room, concussion, blood tests, broken bones and X-ray machines. It also covers a little girl having an operation and a stay in hospital and ends with her going home well and happy.

Things we liked:

The book has simple conversational text, and is brightly illustrated. Its reassuring and gives plenty of opportunities to show and talk through different situations with your child.
There is no story but it does accurately show what happens in hospital and what to expect for both parent and child.
