Wobbly Fang comes down to breakfast one morning and wonders where his mummy is. His Daddy explains that she’s unwell and has been taken to the hospital, and they will go and visit her. Wobbly Fang thinks his mum looks lost and strange lying in her hospital bed, so he thinks of ways to cheer her up: he gets the wolf choir to sing for her, paints her a beautiful picture of the mountains and fetches her moonfeather coat (which smells of her). These thoughtful gestures cheer his Mummy up and help her to recover from her illness. On his last visit to the hospital, Wobbly Fang’s mother is waiting for her family to take her home.
