Cat wakes up one morning and decides that he needs to go exploring with his little friend Mouse. Mouse is worried about the dangers of exploring but Cat promises to look after him. They begin their exploring past their garden and into the cornfields beyond singing happily. They meet Horse who asks them if they have a map to which Cat responds ‘We don’t need one’. Mouse is worried by the fact that they have no map and could get lost but is reassured by her trusted friend Cat who takes Mouse by the paw and they carry on exploring. On their journey they meet dog on his bike who asks if they have sandwiches, Duck who asks if they have warm clothing and Rabbit who notices they don’t have an umbrella. All queries which worry Mouse but which Cat responds to by saying that they have no need for such things as they will be just fine. Then they hear a rumble in the sky, at first they realise they will get wet soon if they don’t back home. Then again they hear a rumble, but this time it is Mouse’s tummy as she is hungry. Mouse is cold and hungry and believes that they are lost but Cat knows exactly where they are and they find behind the gate is a garden just like theirs at home. Cat and Mouse finish their adventure in the best way possible, by having cake at home out of the rain.

Don’t Worry Mouse
